Our client is a privately owned international cyber security and managed security firm with locations across the US, Canada and the UK and are expanding into Europe. They have relationships with insurance firms, commercial entities and law firms and are looking to build on their market share.
Due to their continued growth, they have a current opening for an experienced SVP of Sales based in the US to lead all sales activity in that geography.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a strong influencer who has a track record of generating sales of cyber security incident response services through relationships in cyber security, insurance and legal circles in the US. You may currently be in a company that provides cyber security incident response services or an insurance claims professional that has strong connections with other claims professionals in US based insurance companies. Alternatively, a US cyber and data breach attorney who has strong links to insurance companies in the US or a business development manager who has worked with insurance companies.
In particular the candidate should be able to:
- Demonstrate, a client list at corporate and personnel level in known cyber insurance companies and in known cyber-US law firms.
- Provide a realistic sales strategy and demonstrate a track record of sales.
- Build and maintain senior & C level relationships across cyber insurance lines of business to gain an understanding of business goals, concerns & priorities within USA insurance and breach coach accounts.
- Work as a trusted advisor, proposing value-based services to insurance markets and law firms who can influence workflow.
- Partner with extended internal sales teams & Channel Partners/Referral Partners to build comprehensive account plans, ensuring long term customer influence & achievement of sales goals with insurance companies and breach coach law firms in the US.
- Identify new accounts and land Panel appointments with insurance companies and breach coach law firms in the US.
- Develop new opportunities within existing accounts and generate greater workflows/instructions into the business.
- Partner with the internal Marketing team to develop vertical-based marketing activities, programs, incentives, product updates and customer promotions.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline in the US, accurately tracking account activity through the stages of the sales funnel process.
- Successfully close all committed sales activity within current and new accounts.
- Interact with the Channel Sales/Referral teams to allow customers to use the channel partner network.
- Participate in industry seminars and marketing events, including delivery of seminars to a diverse audience, including end users, corporate influencers and law firms.
