We have bespoke video interviews, which means that our clients can set the questions and get the most relevant insight into the candidates technical, cultural and team fit. This reduces the interview to placement ratio by 66%.

Norrie Johnston, Chairman
During his corporate life Norrie was a sales and marketing problem solver. He worked with companies as wide ranging as Ricardo International Plc, SAC Technology, IBM, London Electricity, Tunstall Group, Jarvis Porter and HomeDirectory.com.
Norrie also knows what it’s like to be an entrepreneur, and raise finance having formed Executives Online in 2000. He built the business to cover both interim and permanent executive recruitment, and raised £250k of expansion capital to develop it further. It grew into a £multimillion business before Norrie oversaw an MBO by its management team.
Norrie is also currently a Non Executive Director for a VCT backed company in the renewable energy sector.
Rex has over 25 years of executive search experience gained working at the highest level for exciting recruitment start-ups through to global executive search businesses. In many, Rex was headhunted into the firms to launch and rapidly build major new businesses. Rex has also enjoyed considerable success as a ‘hands-on’ senior executive search specialist, managing teams and regional offices for Hudson Global Resources and Reed Plc. Prior to joining NJR, Rex was responsible for launching a highly innovative online recruitment business and also helped to launch an executive search business backed by a £1bn turnover recruitment Group.
Rex has a proven track record of successfully recruiting leadership roles for numerous exciting start-up’s/scale-up’s through to blue-chips such as Apple, Nestle, Diageo, Virgin Atlantic, American Express, RBS, G4S, Sega, GSK, IMI Plc, Network Rail, Royal Mail, Arcadia Group Plc, Legal & General and many more.
Graham was a Managing Partner with KPMG Consulting and a member of the UK Board. During this period, he led the firm’s global technology business, launched the firm’s internet operation - Metrius Europe - oversaw the growth of the KPMG business in the Asia Pacific market and spearheaded joint ventures with HP, Microsoft, Vodafone and Cisco Systems.
Graham has also been Chair of the Insolvency Service, Executive Chair of Tribute a software business which processed £1.5 bn in rail ticket revenue and has provided strategic consulting and NED services to a range of public and private organisations.
Graham’s vast wealth of experience means our international and TMT and Professional Services clients can rely on an executive recruitment service developed by someone who completely understands the challenges they face and the standards of service they need.
Phil has spent many years as a senior and director-level executive working in the telecoms, IT and ICT sectors. This included being CEO for the Amcat Group as well as important senior roles with NTL and British Energy plus 11 years with Cable & Wireless plc, where he achieved the CEO award for exceptional services to the company.
A sales and business development specialist, Phil has tremendous director level experience, delivering strong sales solutions and results in areas of; strategic planning, international business development, change management, increasing profitability and new start-up environments.
Daryl is an experienced executive search professional who, over a recruitment career spanning more than 15 years and some of the industry’s leading brands, has been mandated to recruit to all core business functions and for an array of sectors (for example from Financial Services, IT & Technology, Pharma, Manufacturing, FMCG and Consumer, Not-for-Profit and even executives in professional Sport) on behalf of clients in the UK and internationally. Daryl’s earlier non-recruitment career included EMEA finance and commercial roles for global US & UK corporations.
Prior to joining NJR, Daryl was a Senior Partner and Board member of a global executive search business, a subsidiary of a c. £1bn turnover PE-backed Group. Daryl has an extensive international network and during his career to date has recruited for large global businesses as well as supported ambitious SMEs to achieve their strategic plans and growth objectives, including turnaround. His appointments have often played critical roles in significant shareholder value creation and subsequent exit success.
Daryl is an Ambassador for the Institute of Directors in the UK and leads NJR’s Non-Executive Director practice.
Michelle Stanley is a very experienced and effective researcher. She has over 10 years executive research experience using both traditional and advanced web-based search techniques, helping to place the best talent into organisations worldwide. She has extensive experience of working across a diverse range of sectors including aerospace & defence, finance, retail, manufacturing, marketing, and technology & media.

Alison is an Internationally focused Executive Search Consultant / Executive Researcher and is highly experienced in sourcing senior and board-level Executives across a range of disciplines and sectors.
