About the Role
The Interim Global Sales Director/CRO will take the helm of the global Sales function. Working alongside country heads and leading dynamic sales teams across the UK, US, and Australia, playing a pivotal role in steering performance to new heights. As a key supporter of our Client’s growth strategy, they require a visionary and data-savvy leader who has successfully scaled companies.

● Spearhead and drive significant sales growth in alignment with our Client’s strategy during this interim period.
● Formulate compelling commercial value propositions and refine the go-to-market sales strategy.
● Develop a blueprint for scalable growth within the sales operation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
● Motivate the sales teams to excel in implementing a sales-led growth strategy during this interim phase.
● Take ownership, review, and enhance company sales performance, incorporating best practices tailored to both SMB and enterprise clients.
● Inspire and lead growing inbound and outbound sales teams, ensuring they meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through continuous training, mentoring, and support.
● Initiate new sales strategies and establish the sales direction across current and potential markets as part of our ongoing international expansion.
● Manage and maintain a stable, accountable sales pipeline, collaborating with the marketing team on initiatives, incentives, and promotions.
● Ensure commercial excellence by optimizing systems, integrations, methodologies, and reporting.
● Utilize market research and collaborate closely with Marketing to support the expansion team in identifying potential SMB and enterprise customers, as well as new sales opportunities in existing and new markets.
Required Skills and Experience:
● Proven track record as a Global Sales Director/CRO with a global remit spanning multiple countries, with practical experience in scaling up operations in the US.
● Demonstrated expertise in structuring, managing, and leading high-performance sales teams within a marketplace/B2B2C company or platform.
● Ability to comprehend and analyse sales performance metrics at the executive level.
● Highly customer-centric approach coupled with excellent negotiation skills.
● Capability to navigate faster sales cycles across SMB customer bases and longer sales cycles with larger corporations.
● Agile thinker with a deep understanding of the Client’s customer base and broader business model.
● Energetic and driven sales leader with an appreciation for digital marketing.
● Detail-oriented thought leader capable of engaging and inspiring teams during this interim period.
