NED CONNECT: DIRECTORS’ DUTIES AND AVOIDING PERSONAL LIABILITY

As a valued member of our community, we would like to share an event which may be beneficial to you.

DETAILS

Date: Wednesday 30 March 2022, Time: 12 noon – 1pm, Location: Webinar, Cost: No charge

UK law holds every company director, including NEDs, charity trustees and interim directors, to a very high standard and it can be easy for any director to overlook their legal duties when dealing with the day-to-day pressures of their business.

Blake Morgan is hosting a webinar event where they will be joined by Amit Gupta, Barrister at Enterprise Chambers, and Dan Geddes, Partner in Blake Morgan’s Commercial Litigation team who will discuss the statutory and common law responsibilities of a director, as well as the more common pitfalls including being liable for acts of a co-director.

You will also learn from some (anonymised!) real life case studies of situations where directors have failed to take their responsibilities seriously enough.

Both before and during the webinar you will be able to submit questions and the panel will select a few to answer during the session.

Register for the event by clicking on the Sign Up For The Webinar Here button.

To register for this event you will be providing your details to Blake Morgan’s Zoom account. Information provided by you to register with Zoom and attend the meeting will be processed in accordance with Zoom’s privacy policy.
