Their Vision is to be the acknowledged Culinary Leader for Premium Food and Supplier of Choice for catering, logistics and inflight retail throughout UK. To achieve their vision, they now require an experience Supply Chain Director to join the senior team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role has been designed to help lead, and develop the Operational business. As Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for both PDC and FMU’s across the business, therefore having both a supply chain and operational delivery element to your role.
The skills required would suit a well-rounded logistics operator with senior experience; someone who has performed at a senior leadership level with a large manufacturer and delivered sustainable change for the better. This person will be able to demonstrate transformation skills (people, process and systems) as well as operational excellence and continuous improvement within a food or similarly related sector.
To be successful in this role you must have a positive outlook, an ambitious mind-set and be up for a challenge. With proven leadership roles in large multi-site manufacturing logistics operations, you will have the ability to drive and champion change and transform through people engagement. Strong leadership is a must in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering large scale projects including large scale capital expenditure and will have significant experience of managing multi million pound budgets.
In addition to the operational element, it would be advantageous to have a good level of understanding or previous responsibility for Procurement, HR and IT via a matrix model.
