Interim General Manager – Food FMCG
Excellent opportunity to work for this branded food Group based in London.
The company sell a range of branded food products and own label health food products across a number of well known leading brands.
The role:
There is now an immediate opportunity for an Interim General Manager to manage and develop the business on a day to day basis. The role covers all aspects of the business, and is supported by a very able administration manager.
The role will involve the day to day management of the business, covering sales, marketing, production, distribution and finance. The job is varied, and demanding, and requires a hands-on management style.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced hands on Gerneral Manager with previous experience gained within a wholesale / distribution environment. You will be hands on and ideally a strong all-rounder, who can hit the ground running.
The role is demanding, and includes overal management of; Production Control, Sales & Marketing and Finance. Excellent communications skills and good computer skills will be a pre-requisite. Previous experience of working on a food distribution business or sector would be an advantage.
