Commercial Sales Director – Lifestyle Brands B2B

Location: Flexible/Home Based with travel to London and nationally as required

Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Commission + Benefits

Reporting to the Founder/CEO and as part of the leadership team, this is a unique and rare opportunity for a commercial Sales Director to join an early-stage business who are developing the next evolutionary step in bringing products to life for both brands and consumers.

The first venue is a large-scale flagship, in the very heart of London (Piccadilly Circus) with further plans to expand nationally and then overseas in North America

Key responsibilities and duties of the role:

The overall delivery of our client’s brand (customer) partnership offering including;

  • Building the customer (brand partner) sales and marketing objectives, strategy and direction
  • Creation of solid customer end to end process, taking ownership of key customer relationships and experience
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target areas/markets
  • Bringing new brands on board
  • Representing the business at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences
  • Play a key part in driving the overall culture, strategy and direction of the business
  • Build, support and management of brand partnership team (growing, mentoring and motivating) in line with company principles, values and behaviours
  • Development of CRM system
  • Key contributor in the leadership team enabling the drive and focus for the wider business
  • Enablement of solid team communication – to all staff and stakeholders
  • Accurate sales forecasting and reporting
  • Full P&L and budget responsibility

About you:

  • Proven experience as commercial or sales/marketing director within a start-up or SME accelerated pace environment
  • Proven experience both attracting and bringing lifestyle brands onboard
  • Experience building organisations and hiring and training top talent
  • Demonstrable capability of creating and delivering sales and B2B customer marketing strategy
  • Built successful teams and has generated performance through culture and management
  • Previous board level experience
  • Ability to demonstrate learnings from successes and failures Previous sales and marketing Methodology training
  • An understanding of our client’s customers and their pains, gains and problems within their sales Channels (i.e. brands dealing with retail)
  • Successful start-up experience with contributions to growth through acquisition or IPO is desired
