Chief Technology Officer

An outstanding opportunity to join a new global company with an innovative social networking proposition and extremely ambitious but achievable growth plans.
The business is pre-funding but the business plan is very well developed and is in early stage negotiations with a number of interested investors.  A large amount of content has also been developed for the business.  We are currently assembling the potential leadership team for the business and as part of this process are looking for a CTO.

The technology conceptual design is already well developed but we are now seeking an innovative and high impact CTO to further develop this and convert it into a physical design and lead and manage the technology development and delivery process.  In addition to the usual skillsets and experience of a high-performance CTO the successful candidate will need to have extensive knowledge and experience in leading edge but effective technologies including, in particular, Blockchain technologies.  In the first instance the key responsibilities of the individual will be to support the shareholder and other key leadership team members in discussions and negotiations with potential investors.

Longer term there will be continued funding activity as it is anticipated that there will be the need for a number of additional funding rounds in the initial years to finance growth and delivery of future development phases. The business will be truly global with centres in the UK, US and Asia-Pacific (probably Singapore initially).

Whilst specific industry experience is not the key criterion prior senior roles in or with one or more of technology, media, telecommunications and financial services would be advantageous.

All remuneration will be contingent on successfully securing initial investment although once this is achieved the CTO will receive a market competitive six-figure base salary + performance-based bonus and equity share.  The potential multiples on the business are very high so there is an opportunity for the right candidate to achieve significant capital growth.
