Chief Financial Officer

An outstanding opportunity to join a new global company with an innovative social networking proposition and extremely ambitious but achievable growth plans.
The business is pre-funding but the business plan is very well developed and is in early stage negotiations with a number of interested investors.  A large amount of content has also been developed for the business.

We are currently assembling the potential leadership team for the business and as part of this process we are urgently looking for a CFO designate.
In addition to the usual skillsets and experience of a high-performance CFO the successful candidate will need to have extensive experience in corporate finance and funding high-growth businesses.  In the first instance the key responsibilities of the individual will be to support the shareholder and other key leadership team members in discussions and negotiations with potential investors.  The individual will also be expected to contribute to the process of identifying potential investors.
Once the initial funding has been secured the role will shift focus to establishing and supporting the business in all financial matters on a global basis.  There will be continued funding activity as it is anticipated that there will be the need for a number of additional funding rounds in the initial years to finance growth.

The business will be truly global with centres in the UK, US and Asia-Pacific (probably Singapore initially) although the CFO will initially be UK based.
Whilst specific industry experience is not the key criterion prior senior roles in or with one or more of technology, media, telecommunications and financial services would be advantageous.

All remuneration will be contingent on successfully securing initial investment although once this is achieved the CFO will receive a market competitive six-figure base salary + performance-based bonus and equity share.  The potential multiples on the business are very high so there is an opportunity for the right candidate to achieve significant capital growth.
