Our Client is one of the largest and fastest growing financial institutions in Ghana and are currently looking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer. This is a unique opportunity to lead the growth of their investment banking and asset management company.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous Investment Banking experience is essential
- including previous experience of working as an Investment Banker; e.g worked and traded in capital markets / stock markets
- A strong track record of leading and building businesses, ideally with board level experience from a well respected Investment Bank
- A hands on and dynamic leader with strong corporate finance experience
- Previous experience gained in mergers and acquisitions, company valuations and listing a company on the stock market
- The vision and gravitas to inspire excellence from the exceptional individuals in quickly establishing the bank as ‘best in class’
- Familiarity with the African market, particularly the Ghanaian Market
- A track record of running successful business origination teams with strong knowledge of Investment Banking and Asset Management products
- Candidates who have held or currently hold senior positions in the US or Europe are of particular Interest
- The candidate must have excellent people management skills
Qualifications:
- A degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics or related courses
- A Masters Degree in Finance or related courses
- CFA qualified will be an added advantage
