Norrie Johnston, Chairman
During his corporate life Norrie was a sales and marketing problem solver. He worked with companies as wide ranging as Ricardo International Plc, SAC Technology, IBM, London Electricity, Tunstall Group, Jarvis Porter and HomeDirectory.com
Norrie also knows what it’s like to be an entrepreneur, and raise finance having formed Executives Online in 2000. He built the business to cover both interim and permanent executive recruitment, and raised £250k of expansion capital to develop it further. It grew into a £multimillion business before Norrie oversaw an MBO by its management team.
Norrie is also currently a Non Executive Director for a VCT backed company in the renewable energy sector.
Graham Oates, Chief Executive
Graham was a senior partner at KPMG for 14 years and managing partner and member of the UK Board. During this period he built the IT Consulting business for KPMG UK to a £50m turnover operation employing 500 people. He also launched the firm’s internet operation, Metrius Europe, oversaw the growth of the KPMG business in the Asia Pacific market and spearheaded joint ventures with Compaq, Microsoft and Cisco Systems.
Graham has also been Chair of the Insolvency Service and Executive Chair of Tribute a software business which processed £1.5 bn in rail ticket revenue.

Rex Cridland, Executive Director
Rex has over 20 years of recruitment experience gained working at the highest level with global recruitment consultancies, major online recruitment firms, exciting start-ups and with global search & selection specialists. In many Rex was headhunted into the firms to launch and rapidly build major new businesses. Rex has also enjoyed considerable success as a ‘hands-on’ senior executive search specialist, managing teams and regional offices for Hudson Global Resources, Reed Personnel Services Plc and more recently helped to launch an executive search business backed by Pertemps Plc.

Phil Hagen, Director
Phil Hagen knows what clients looking for a senior executive really need. After all he spent many years as a senior and director-level executive working in the telecoms, IT and ICT sectors. This included being CEO for the Amcat Group as well as important senior roles with NTL and British Energy plus 11 years with Cable & Wireless plc, where he achieved the CEO award for exceptional services to the company.
A sales and business development specialist, Phil has tremendous director level experience, delivering strong sales solutions and results in areas of; strategic planning, international business development, change management, increasing profitability and new start-up environments.
Jackie Edwards, Non Executive Director
A leading IT and Business transformation specialist, Jackie understands the issues facing leaders in organisations undergoing major change and the sort of people they need.
During her 25 years as an interim and a permanent executive Jackie led major change programmes within blue-chip financial services brands and high profile regulatory bodies including Barclays Group companies, Cap Gemini Ernst Young and the Financial Services Authority (now the FCA). At the Financial Services Authority Jackie led the delivery of a major business change programme for its IS Division. Her interim work at Barclays included acting as Programme Director for the transformation of Group Collections and Recoveries across the Barclays Group. As divisional director of Cap Gemini Ernst Young, Jackie was Programme Director for Boots the Chemist, leading a major transformation for the pharmacy business.
Christian Rolke, Associate Director
Christian has 20 years experience in the recruitment industry. He has expertise in international recruitment, with extensive experience of conducting searches for clients across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Christian has delivered against complex international briefs, for companies including Jaguar Land Rover and Lotus.
Bhumika Zaveri, Associate Director
Bhumika has spent more than 9 years working at the highest level in recruitment operations, talent and HR projects and transformation programmes. She has wide experience managing recruitment operations and resourcing projects, working with companies such as CSC Global, TalkTalk, Atos Consulting Group, The Children’s Society, Dixon’s Carphone and Comet Group PLC.

Michelle Stanley, Head of Research
Michelle Stanley is a very experienced and effective researcher. She has over 9 years executive research experience using both traditional and advanced web based search techniques, helping to place the best talent into organisations worldwide. She has extensive experience of working across a diverse range of sectors including: aerospace & defence, finance, retail, manufacturing, marketing, and technology & media. Prior to this Michelle assisted a world leading defence technology and security company in the delivery of its IT & telecommunication requirements.

Roz is a commercially focused, results orientated finance professional with extensive experience of both operational financial management and change management gained in both the private and public sectors. Her experience has covered: Mergers and acquisitions – due diligence and integration management, change management and business integration to improve results, implementation of financial systems and team management
